Summary of Archery
The Liberty Magnet High JROTC Archery Team is a beginner-friendly, inclusive team, and is one of the safest and most relaxed of those in the Battalion. We practice and teach bow and arrow safety, using genesis bows and our very own targets. We're always here to assist and critique each other so we can improve as a team. As the commander, I also strive to make practice fun and interesting, while providing a space for team members to decompress after a long day.

At practice, they hone our archery skills and prepare for upcoming competitions. Sometimes, they have mini-competitions with each other to see who can score the highest! Other times, they see who can hold the bow up the longest while shooting the highest score.

In competitions, they test and put their skills on display. The competitions consist of shooting targets from 10-15 meters in 3 rounds. Of course, in each competition, they utilize safety protocols learned at school and at previous competitions to ensure a safe and fun environment.
