Meet the Battalion Team Liaison Officer

Hi, my name is Dawson Woods. I am the Battalion Team Liaison Officer for the 2023-2024 school year. I am a LET-4 and senior at Liberty Magnet High School. I currently hold the rank of Cadet Captain; I was the S-1 Assistant my LET-2 year and the S-1 last year. I am currently the deputy commander for our nationally-competing Raider Team and I participate in the Drill and Color Guard teams.

What is my job?

My job as the Teams Liaison Officer is to facilitate the dissemination of information from staff to the team leaders. I also voice the concerns and needs of teams to resolve any issues that concern them.

Cyber Patriots Team: Attend 1 mission/competition

Drill Team: Attend 1 competition and 20 practices each semester

FTW Drones Team: Attend 1 mission/competition

JLAB Team: Attend 1 competition/mission

Raider Team: Attend 1 competition/mission

Rifle Team: Attend 1 competition; you will receive a lamp for the respective year you participate in Rifle and attend a competition

Robotics Team: Attend 1 competition/mission

Arc Requirements

Archery Team: Attend 1 competition

Color Guard Team: Attend 1 competition

Cyber Patriots Team: Attend 1 competition

Drill Team: Attend 40+ practices; must be given in your second semester as a member

FTW Drones Team: Attend 1 competition

JLAB Team: Attend 1 competition

Raider Team: Must complete 1 competition and consistently attend practices

Rifle Team: Attend 75 percent of practices and attend at least one competition

Robotics Team: Attend 1 competition

Rope Requirements

Archery Team: Attend 1 competition

Drill Team: Awarded with a blazer

FTW Drones Team: Attend 1 competition

JLAB Team: Attend 1 competition

Raider Team: Must complete 2 competitions and consistently attend practice
